The Year 3 boys had a fantastic time on their trip to the Bolton Nature Reserve!

With their wellies on, they ventured into the stream to conduct a kick sample. The boys were amazed with the variety of creatures they found and they confidently used a classification key to identify their names great practice for our Science topic.

They also used a net to collect a sample of mini-beasts from the grasslands and also searched the woodland for creepy crawlies! A big thank you to the Wildlife Trust for Lancashire for having us.
