Matthew wins Maurice Watkins Trophy

Year 8 footballer Matthew Slim, who plays at both centre back and full back, is the proud recipient of this year's Maurice Watkins Trophy.
The trophy is presented to a player within the MGS Football Club whom staff feels is the embodiment of the ethos of MGS Football, and Matthew impressed everyone with his performances, commitment, always turning up to training on time and giving it his all.
Here Matthew is presented with the trophy by MGS Chair of Governors Maurice Watkins CBE, after whom the trophy is named. Well done, Matthew.
