Many congratulations to two of our Sixth-Form pupils, Adi Arora and Sam Franks, who have both been shortlisted for the prestigious John Locke Institute Essay Competition 2019, which attracts entrants from all over the world.

Both boys are studying Religious Studies at MGS, and Adi has been shortlisted in the Philosophy category, and Sam for Theology.

The John Locke Institute encourages young people to cultivate the characteristics that turn good students into great writers: independent thought, depth of knowledge, clear reasoning, critical analysis and persuasive style. The Essay Competition invites students to explore a wide range of challenging and interesting questions beyond the confines of the School curriculum.

To be shortlisted among entrants from across the world is a great achievement for Adi and Sam. Well done, boys, and good luck with the next steps of the competition.
