To conclude our feature about what life is really like as an MGS boy, today we hear from Rishi, who started in Year 3 last year and was elected Form Captain:

I arrived nervously at MGS on my first day. I didn’t know what to expect and I didn’t know anybody.  The teachers and teaching assistants calmed me down and were very nice and welcoming. I met some lovely boys whom I played with at lunch.

The school is enormous and has every facility that you could imagine. There are football pitches, squash courts, a hockey pitch and a swimming pool.

The School curriculum is vast and interesting.  We have specialist teachers for each subject.  We also have something called ‘Options’, where we can choose from a range of activities such as baking, gardening, violin club and sewing.  I have had a great time making cookies, pizza and cupcakes and sharing them with my family.

I have had an absolute ball in my first year at MGS and look forward to many more.  I was elected as Form Captain, which has been a great privilege, and made lifelong friends.
