Rachel Adams, a teacher in the MGS English Department, has cut off 17 inches of her beautiful flowing hair to support children and young people who have lost their hair due to cancer and other conditions.

Rachel has been growing her hair since the first lockdown more than a year ago, but this week her hairdresser cut off her ponytail, which will now be donated to the Little Princess Trust - a fantastic charity that provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have suffered devastating hair loss due to treatment for cancer and other illnesses.

Since 2006, the charity has provided more than 8,000 wigs to young cancer sufferers and everyone at MGS is so proud of Rachel for supporting such a worthwhile cause.
