Junior School's answer to Britain's Got Talent - MGS Has Got Talent- has once again proved that our boys are not only gifted in the classroom, but also on the stage, with singers, musicians, magicians and comedians thoroughly captivating us in the entertainment extravaganza.

After a fiercely competitive round of auditions, twelve acts performed in the final to a packed theatre, with our very own Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Simon Cowell judging proceedings (Mr Bentley, Mr Hanson, Mrs Robinson and Mrs Ward respectively).

Following a host of exceptional performances, some rather amusing remarks and much deliberation, Year 6 pupil Giles Christian was announced as winner; his act involved some truly mystifying magic and incredible card trickery our very own Dynamo in the making!

Well done also goes to the worthy runners-up: Year 4’s Harvey Bird who sang a rip-roaringly rousing version of The Greatest Showman’s This Is Me’ and Year 6 band 'Generation 4’ (comprised of Anay Deshpande, Alex Gawne, Jeremy Kim and Tej Venigalla) for their crowd-pleasing performance of Portugal The Man’s Feel It Still.

Further congratulations go to all boys who participated: the standard was astoundingly high, demonstrating the wide variety of talent here at MGS. We all wait in anticipation for what wonderful acts await us in MGS Has Got Talent 2019!

Thanks go to 'Ant and Dec’ (Solly Tempkin and Hudson Davies) for presenting, our tech crew (Adi Chatterjee and Rohan Muthu), and Miss Reynolds for organising.
