As well as over 1,480 lively and stimulating boys, we have more than 200 members of staff - 160 of which are teachers - all with talents and abilities in a wide range of areas, creating a busy and exciting environment in which to teach.
Our curriculum is enriched by fieldwork in geography and biology, and by extensive historical visits at home and abroad for all age-ranges. There are regular languages exchanges with France, Germany and Spain, as well as visits to Russia. Year 8 pupils visit a variety of buildings associated with the range of religions within the Manchester community.
A new curriculum was introduced in September 2007 and has now been fully integrated.
There is a strong feeling of community and relationships between members of the different teaching departments, as well as non-teaching staff, are warm and friendly. Enter the relevant link to discover more about the subjects we offer at MGS.
