MGS is fortunate to own three off-site properties, each with a character of its own and all very much a part of the rich and varied life on offer outside the School gates.
Ownership of Owls' Nest and the Grasmere Barn dates from the 1920s and both have a rich folklore and tradition that has been passed down by the thousands of MGS pupils and staff who have visited over the decades, instilling unusual and valued memories.
The refurbishment of The Old School House near Brough, in Cumbria, was
completed in January 2009 and is used for a variety of academic, musical
and adventure activities.
