Memorial Concert for Anthony Goldstone (1944-2017)

A celebration of the life and music of the distinguished pianist and OM, Anthony Goldstone, who died earlier this year.  The programme will be performed by his wife Caroline Clemmow, with whom he performed and recorded extensively, musical friends and colleagues, as well as current boys of the school, and the Principal of the RNCM.

Teatime Lecture: Kate Cooper

Martyrdom and religious violence in the Roman World: ancient problems, modern parallels

Kate Cooper was appointed Head of History at Royal Holloway, London in Septermber 2017 and previously was Professor of Ancient History at the University of Manchester.  She writes and teaches about the world of the Mediterranean in the Roman period.

Jamie Woodward is Head of Geography and Professor of Physical Geography at the University of Manchester and Honorary Academic Curator of Geoarchaeology and Quaternary Science at the Manchester Museum.
