Gurjus raises hundreds of pounds for charity

What a fantastic effort by Year 5 pupil Gurjus Chadha, 9, who has raised more than £1,660 for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital as part of his Hugh Oldham charity initiative.
Gurjus organised a bake sale at his parent's place of work and also went door-to-door to sell his cakes. He made all the sale posters himself and set up the table. Some of the money was raised at the sale and the rest was raised through JustGiving as family and friends who couldn’t make it wanted to show their support.
Well done Gurjus, an amazing effort!
