Ahoy!

A wonderful evening in the Memorial Hall last night, as members of the MGS Senior School Club, pupils from Withington Girls' School and Manchester High School for Girls, Year 4 MGS boys and pupils from New Islington Free School and St James CE Primary School came together to perform Ahoy! by Alexander L'Estrange.
Not only did all the performers do themselves proud with superb renditions of the choir arrangements, songs and sea shanties, but the evening also raised a lot of money for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital as audience members gave voluntary donations.
It was a memorable evening and my thanks to everyone who attended and, of course, all the performers!
