Lowry Inspiring Year 4 Artists

On Thursday 11 October, Year 4 enjoyed a tour of The Lowry Centre in Salford, to supplement their studies of L.S. Lowry in Art.
They saw and discussed some original Lowry paintings, including several self-portraits, matchstick men and industrial landscapes. Walking around the gallery, the boys sketched their own industrial landscapes or seascapes, inspired by the work of Lowry.
