Junior School Christmas Concert

Last night, we held our annual Junior School Christmas Concert inside a packed Memorial Hall, featuring fabulous music from the Junior School Orchestra, ensembles and choir.
We were treated to a number of festive favourites, including whole school renditions of Once In Royal David’s City and It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year (complete with festive hats!), with Years 3 and 4 respectively singing I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas and My Wheel And I (from Song Cycle), Year 5 previewing Greetings Of The Season from their upcoming show Bah Humbug! and Year 6 bringing the house down with Sparkle and Shine (from Nativity!)
The boys were absolutely fantastic, and performed the songs with gusto and enthusiasm.
Thank you to all the parents who came along to show their support and help make it such a memorable evening. And thank you, as always, to Miss Emily Shercliff who conducted the show and deserves great praise for bringing the event together.
