With a healthcare system at capacity and costing millions, if not billions of pounds, can technology make a difference to not only the patient experience, medical research, or new surgical techniques, but also to the rising cost of running the NHS?

Our panel of experts discussed how technology is changing the world of medicine last night at our Business Class event. We had a fantastic line up, including Old Mancunians who had not been back to the School for over 30 years:

Martin Frost (OM 74-81), CEO of Cambridge Medical Robotics

Dr Neil Paul (OM 82-89), GP and columnist at digitalhealth.net

Sai Lakshmi (OM 96-99), Co-Founder of Echo

Dr Suman Saha, Medical Director of Doctify

Our host for the evening was Tim Dempsey (OM 96-03), Director of Epiphany Capital which invests in healthcare and tech companies like PushDr.

It was also great to see Adam Davies (OM 07-13), Northern Partnerships Associate at Doctify.

The event was attended by students, parents, Old Mancunians and staff, and was followed by a networking session.
