Excellent GCSE results

Pupils at The Manchester Grammar School are celebrating today following the publication of another set of outstanding results.
The High Master, Dr Martin Boulton, said: “We are delighted that all the hard work of pupils and staff has been rewarded with another outstanding set of results.
“Pupils have adapted incredibly well to new ways of working throughout the various challenges they have faced because of the pandemic, and this year’s superb results reflect that. They can be very proud of all the have achieved.
“I would also like to pay tribute to the care, hard work and professionalism of all the MGS staff, who have done so much to ensure that the disruption to pupils’ education has been as small as possible. In particular, the process of awarding Teacher Assessed Grades has been a monumental effort by everyone involved. Teachers up and down the country deserve a great deal of credit for all of their hard work.”
