The Hibbitt Centre - A New Sixth Form Centre for MGS
The Hibbitt Centre, a new Sixth Form Centre and Pavilion, which will open in January 2026, is the next stage of the School’s long term development plan and is designed to ensure that MGS has the appropriate infrastructure to deliver the very best education for current pupils and generations to come.
The ambitious project delivers a dedicated Sixth Form Centre with study and recreational areas for pupils, as well as teaching and office space, and a new Sports Pavilion and Refectory on the current site.
We have been planning financially for this £10 million project for a number of years and we are delighted that through the generosity of our alumni and parent communities, over £5 million has been gifted and pledged towards the cost of the building.
If you have any queries about the appeal or about how to make a gift, please click here or contact the School’s Development Director, Simon Jones.
