Comic Masterclass

Yesterday, we were absolutely delighted to welcome Kevin Sutherland, a comic writer and artist for The Beano, Marvel and Doctor Who among others, who put on a Comic Masterclass for some of our boys.
The workshop was a reward for those boys who successfully completed the 'Five Books Challenge' set by the MGS Library staff, which challenged boys in all years to read five books during the academic year.
It was a fantastic day, as the boys not only got to try their hands at designing and drawing their own comics, with expert tips from Kevin, but Kevin also drew some amazing caricatures of our pupils. Our thanks to Kevin for a great day.
