Mendelssohn’s Elijah

A performance of Mendelssohn’s Elijah will take place in the MGS Memorial Hall on Sunday 2 February 2020, at 7pm, for CLIC Sargent. 

This follows the success of the performance of Verdi’s Requiem in January 2016 and Brahms’ Requiem in 2018 which together raised over £17,000 for CLIC Sargent.

This is a project which will involve MGS boys, parents, staff and professional and amateur players and singers from across the Manchester area.

Rehearsals 2020 in MGS Memorial Hall

Monday 13 January: 7-9.30pm

Thursday 23 January: 7-9.30pm

Wednesday 29 January: 7-9.30pm

Concert Day: Sunday 2 February 2020

Rehearsal with orchestra: 2-5pm.

Concert: 7.00pm.

The fee to participate will be £30. There will be no charge for those under the age of 18 from MGS or from any other school who wish to participate in the chorus.
