Marcus Bokkerink
Marcus (OM 76-82) is Chair of the UK's Competition and Markets Authority and Chair of the Development Board at Pembroke College, Cambridge where he studied Modern Languages and Chinese. He obtained a Masters at SOAS and an MBA at Harvard. Until 2020 Marcus was Senior Partner and Managing Director at Boston Consulting Group. He led BCGs Strategy Practice and the Consumer Practice in the UK and Europe and the firms UK ChairsÃÂ Forums. He also established and developed BCG's China business. Marcus has 30 years of experience advising corporate executive teams and boards on strategies to build competitive advantage, reshape portfolios through M&A, harness digital technologies, and adapt the business model and organisation in the face of disruption.
