Michael Robinson

Michael joined the Board of Governors in 2019 and is on the Finance and Estates committees. Originally from the North East and after commencing a career in construction, Michael became a Chartered Surveyor initially in Newcastle Upon Tyne where he attended University before moving to Manchester in the late 1990s. He is a consultant in the Commercial Property sector specialising in construction and project management. He has held Senior Director/ Partner roles with a professional property advisory companies such as Chesterton, Gerald Eve and CBRE. He is co-founder of a niche Property Consultancy firm acting mainly for property investment clients and has worked on a number of major commercial development schemes both nationwide and in Manchester such as Spinningfields, Central Business Park, Salford Quays, St Johns and the airport. He has also advised on projects in the US and Europe.Michael is married to Claire and they have a son who attended MGS and a daughter at Manchester High School for Girls.
