Celebrating 10 years of the Junior School
Yesterday, in our Junior School Sports Assembly, we marked 10 years since our Junior School first opened its doors.
To mark the occasion, we were delighted to welcome back OM Oliver Kingsley (MGS 08-16), who was part of the first intake of Year 6 boys when the Junior School officially opened in 2008.
Oliver spoke passionately about his time at MGS and how special an MGS education is, and urged our current JS boys to make the most of every opportunity at MGS.
Mrs Hamilton, Head of the Junior School, said: "It doesn't seem ten years since we built Bexwyke Lodge, to house just over 90 boys. Over the years we've seen numbers grow, a new lodge built and wonderful teachers passing through our doors.
"For me, it's been a privilege to work with dedicated staff, amazing boys and supportive parents. I can't think of a better job or a more exciting institution to work in."
