Ben wins Cambridge College essay question

Congratulations to year 13 pupil Ben B who has been successful in the Robinson College Essay Prize 2022. Out of 300 entries, Ben won his question: “Can science tell us how we should live?” in which he tried to provide a basis for Aristotelean virtue ethics using the evolutionary biology of EO Wilson.
This is a wonderful achievement for Ben, who is hoping to study Philosophy and Psychology at university. He commented on his experiences, saying: “The topic itself was something that I have been thinking about for quite a while, which made writing about it a lot easier. However, condensing it all into 2,000 word essay was the biggest challenge!”.
