MGS JSoc Lunch 2022

Thank you to everyone who attended the MGS Jewish Society event at the weekend, as the school welcomes current and former MGS pupils to come together, listen to a range of talks, enjoy a delicious meal and celebrate the Jewish community in the school. The Memorial Hall was filled with 90 people and was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to reunite, after events were halted during the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.
Zak S is Head of the Jewish Society and commented: "This year was MGS’s third J-Soc lunch and there was the largest attendance by far with over 90 guests, so we moved the lunch from the library to the Memorial Hall. All the guests enjoyed the opportunity to reflect on what it means to be Jewish at MGS, over a delicious three-course meal! The guest speaker, Richard Donner (OM 1972-79) spoke excellently about how the school has impacted his life and how he has got to where he is now, with a few entertaining anecdotes along the way".
Well done to the MGS JSoc committee who helped to organise the event and ensured that the event ran smoothly on the evening, and we look forward to welcoming you all back again very soon!
