Congratulations to all 32 MGS pupils who represented Iran, India, South Africa and Venezuela at WiMUN XIII at Withington Girls' School on Saturday 2 July.
The delegation from India, led by year 12 pupil Junayd S, won the Highly Commended award (2nd place) which was a fantastic achievement.
Well done to all those who received individual awards, as follows:
Highly Commended = Kingsley A, Aarav G, George K, Krishan K, Evan M, Joss N
Commended = Danuja F, Patrick H-A, Ben N, Barny N
Special mention = Frank D, Aarav G, Ashvin K, Aadam S
Best young delegate = Max F, Hasnain I
Thank you also to year 12 pupils Nick B and Zach F who were invited to serve as guest chairs and gave up their time to fulfil these roles!
